A Journey from Advocacy to Artistry
Ever since I was little, I always knew there were two things I would do when I became an adult; dress up and talk a lot.
I've spent two decades advocating for society's vulnerable children.
The loss of my grandfather – my mentor of 42 years and greatest champion – became the catalyst for Bellissima Bacchus. After his passing, I no longer have the same zeal to collect the brass rings I once chased in my professional career. I find myself in unfamiliar territory.
In my dimmest moments of grief, I still hear Papa saying to me, "You're a Bacchus! You were meant for this" – words he repeated when I sought his advice on a new accomplishment for my resume. His answer, always the same, "it's already yours". My grandfather etched onto my heart the importance of our family name, and if I was dutiful and loyal to the Bacchus legacy, I would inevitably achieve greatness.

This boutique, bearing my Grandfather's initials "B.B.," emerged as my tribute to his legacy. The path I detoured onto, brings back treasured memories from days with my Grandfather; laughter, crisp, sharp, bright colors; a time surrounded by beauty, when everything seemed eye appealing. I'll stay on this road, it reminds me of my childhood home, where I was always by my Grandfather's side. I'll be here sharing artistry and elegance with women who also have an appreciation for all things beautiful. It is after all, place where I can live out my dreams of dressing up and talking a lot!
